Treated Radioactive Fukushima Wastewater to Be Dumped Into Pacific

Of course.  Because they can. And because the wastewater they've 'scrubbed' free of other radionuclides besides tritium, which can't be removed because tritium is the radioactive form of hydrogen which can make up some of the water, well that's just piled up in so many giant containers that they're tired of buying more.  So the 'solution' as all the nuclear industries eventually resort to is 'dilution', so they're gonna just dump it into the ocean.  Probably intending to do so far enough out in the water that currents will carry it away from Japan, but hey that's all they care about and screw everyone else who might be impacted, their calculations will likely show that no one spot in the Pacific Ocean is gonna get too 'hot' radioactively.  Ignoring the reality that 'hot spots' of more concentrated tritium will eventually form and drift around the ocean, eventually exposing fish that some people will catch and other people will eat.  How many tuna boats monitor the radioactivity of the fish they catch, you might ask?  Fair question.  Same for the fish markets and distributors and individual food stores.  Probably NADA.
